The Visual Comfort story

Designer lighting, from the designers themselves

Andy Singer founded Visual Comfort in Houston, Texas, in 1987 and built it by working directly with designers. Today Visual Comfort & Co. partners with some of the best-known names in interiors and fashion.

We stock its Studio and Generation collections, which bring those designers' work to more accessible prices. Visual Comfort says many of its fittings are made by hand, which is why hand-blown glass can show tiny bubbles or lines.

The designers behind our range

Names you know, in designs only Visual Comfort makes

A lookalike can copy the outline of a design. It can't make it a Ralph Lauren, an AERIN or a Kelly Wearstler.

Why buy genuine Visual Comfort

What the photo doesn't show is who designed it, whether it suits New Zealand's power supply, and who stands behind it.

Your electrician will ask for the paperwork

New Zealand's Electrical Workers Registration Board advises electricians to be prepared to say no to fittings a client supplies, and not to install them without a valid Supplier Declaration of Conformity. Ours come with one, and your electrician can rely on it.2, 3
