Get the height right

Typical mounting heights. Your electrician will confirm the final position.

  • Either side of a mirror

    Centre the backplates about 1.5 to 1.65 m from the floor and 900 to 1000 mm apart, or just outside the mirror frame.

  • Above a mirror

    Mounted sideways, centre it over the mirror about 1.9 to 2 m from the floor.

  • Hallway

    Allow about 2.4 to 3 m between sconces along a hall.

  • Narrow halls
