Size and placement
Get the height right
Typical mounting heights. Your electrician will confirm the final position.
-
Over a dining table
Hang the bottom of the shade 750 to 850 mm above the tabletop. At 610 mm across, it suits a table about 900 mm wide or more.
-
Over a kitchen island
Allow 750 to 850 mm above the benchtop. For a pair, space them about 900 mm apart, centre to centre.
-
Setting the drop
On a 2.4 m ceiling over a table, it hangs about 850 mm from the ceiling. Remove stems to shorten it, and keep 2.1 m clear where people walk underneath.

Good to know
Questions customers ask
Quick answers before you buy.
Can I adjust the height?
Yes. Five 178 mm stems are included, so you can set the drop up to 1,353 mm overall. It can also hang from a sloped ceiling.
Which bulb does it take?
One E27 bulb, not included. Use an LED of up to 12 W. The bulb sits low in the shallow shade, so a decorative bulb looks best.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, with a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. Your electrician can confirm the dimmer.
Can it go in a bathroom?
This light is US dry rated, so we recommend it for living areas, halls and bedrooms rather than bathrooms or outdoors.
Is it suitable for New Zealand?
Yes. It is converted to 230 V for New Zealand, and a Supplier Declaration of Conformity is available on request.
Will you match a lower price?
Yes. If another authorised New Zealand retailer advertises the same product, in the same finish, for less, send us the link before you order and we will match it. The details are on our price match promise page.
