Size and placement
Get the height right
Typical mounting heights. Your electrician will confirm the final position.
-
Beside a door
Mount it about 1.7 to 1.8 m above the threshold. With a single light, put it on the handle side of the door.
-
Sizing to the door
A light about a quarter to a third of the door height looks right. At 406 mm tall, it suits a pair either side of a standard 2 m front door, or a single light beside it.
-
Along a deck, path or garage
Space them 2.5 to 3 m apart for even light.
