Size and placement
Get the height right
Typical mounting heights. Your electrician will confirm the final position.
-
Choosing a shade
Pick a shade about 380 to 480 mm across the bottom and deep enough to hide the bulb fitting.
-
On a side table
Pair it with a table 550 to 650 mm high, so the bottom of the shade sits around eye level when you're seated.
-
Bedside
Use a bedside table at least 450 mm wide, so the shade doesn't overhang the edge.

One B22 bayonet bulb. Up to 40 W; we recommend LED.

No, it's the base only. A shade about 380 to 480 mm across the bottom suits it. See our lampshades range.
Will you match a lower price?
Yes. If another authorised New Zealand retailer advertises the same product, in the same finish, for less, send us the link before you order and we will match it. The details are on our price match promise page.
