Jenny is the eldest daughter of Lester and Joice Brewerton, who originally started Storey Collection over 50 years ago, then called Brewerton Electrical. Jenny grew up in the business, securing her first sale when she was only 4 years old! Over the years Jenny has worked for the family business off and on, and in 2015, Jenny and her husband purchased the family business.
Not only does Jenny run Storey Collection, but she is also our consultant for lighting refreshes, where she helps clients with updates in homes. She also works alongside Serena with lighting designs for new builds and renovations.

Jenny has a great eye for product, and enjoys picking out unique pieces for the showroom.

Personal Interior Style:

“I love taking existing décor and finding products that will complement and enhance. From modern clean lines with pops of colour, to more contemporary, and of course heritage pieces that ooze charm and character”

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time:

“I have a large garden where I enjoy being outside and working to create different ‘rooms’ within the garden. I have a native section that is restful, an English Country area that pops with colour, and a fruit and veggie garden that includes plants like basil, tomatoes and raspberries, and is edged with peach, apricot, and apple trees . I love the idea of being self-sufficient. During harvest time there is a lot of time spent making tomato sauces, jams, preserving, and cooking.”

Serena is the daughter of Jenny and has been working alongside her mum at Storey Collection for 7 years. She has a diploma in Interior Design, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Science & Technology specialising in Lighting. Serena is our lighting designer for new builds and renovations.

Personal Interior Style:

“Traditional meets modern. I love old buildings filled with its own personality and quirks, that have been refreshed and brought into our era, while still maintaining character and charm. I adore calm neutral tones, accented with textured fabrics, rich wood, or ornamental touches. Timeless, elegant, but functional.

What you enjoy doing in your spare time:

“I have a keen interest in history and historical fashion. I enjoy sewing, embroidering, and reading in my spare time. You will often find me researching historical fashion, architecture, and interiors on my days off! ”

SALES ASSISTANT

Delta is Jenny’s Niece and has grown up around lighting and interior design through her parents.

She has been working alongside her family at Storey Collection for 3+ years and is currently studying towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Art & Design. Delta works in the showroom helping customers find pieces for their home, as well as helping to maintain the website, and coordinates our social media.

Personal Interior Style:

“As multimedia artist, my interior style is eclectic, influenced by my many creative outlets. I love bringing layers into a space, freely incorporating several design styles, while experimenting and playing with colour and textures. I currently lean towards the mid-century modern and transitional styles. I am drawn to neutral tones, textures, & organic shapes, accented with vibrant colours.“

What you enjoy doing in your spare time:
“I like exploring ways to express my creativity. I enjoy creating with my hands, whether this is painting, crochet, or learning to sew. I have recently discovered a love for pottery, and been creating unique pieces to sell in the shop.”
